National Alliance on Mental Illness
NAMIWalks
NAMI Franklin County is celebrating our 10th anniversary of the NAMIWalks program. We are proud to be a part of the largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in America! Through NAMIWalks' public, active display of support for people affected by mental illness, we are changing how Americans view persons with a mental illness. This is leading to ensuring that help and hope are available for those in need. Please join us at 10:30 am June, 1, 2013 at Fred Beekman Park as we improve lives and our community one step at a time.
There is still time to support NAMI Franklin County and ensure that we can continue helping families our community that seeks our free services. Sign up today and get your friends, family and co-workers to WALK or GIVE to raise awareness and raise money that directly helps kids, adults, seniors and families in central Ohio learn about and understand mental illness. It all adds up to support!
You can register online by visiting www.namiwalks.org/franklincounty. Online registration allows you to fundraise online, meaning you do not have to handle cash or check donations. Your donors and supporters can use their debit or credit cards to make donations to you. You will also receive a webpage allowing you to personalize it with your story, picture, and videos so you can track your progress.
